Today we begin the trek to Las Vegas and the annual Consumer Electronics Show, where about 150,000 (maybe even more) people will converge over the next few days to talk about cool gadgets, everything from foot massagers to high-definition plasma TVs.
The computer and networking industries have taken to this trade show like flies to a Krispy Kreme donut -- we expect to see lots of announcements in the wireless networking space (lots of pre-802.11n via MIMO gear is expected) and the home Voice over IP space.
Time permitting, we'll try to update this space with some of our thoughts, especially if anything knocks us out. After five years of covering this show (it keeps getting bigger and bigger), it gets tougher to try to find something that truly says "Wow," but that's what we'll be looking for.
