Envision Monitors this week launched a 17-inch flat-panel monitor that includes "flexibility features" and other enhancements aimed at letting users personalize and maximize their desktop space. The EN7220 was designed with Lunar, an industrial design firm, Envision said. The monitor costs $449 and includes add-on features such as removable accessory holders, picture clips that mount on the top or side of the screen, and a concealed storage tray in the base.
The monitor features a 25-degree tilt and 70-degree swivel for adjustments, in addition to a 110mm height adjustment and 90-degree pivot (to switch from landscape to portrait mode). The monitor has a three-year warranty, and also has the Energy Star rating (consumers 60% less energy than comparable CRT monitors).
