McDonald's goes high-tech with Monopoly game

If you've ever needed evidence of high-technology pervading the mainstream, look no further than the McDonald's new Monopoly contest, which started today.
Through an alliance with partner Best Buy, a majority of the prizes being offered would all qualify as a topic here for the Cool Tools: Daily Dose.
In years past, the contest featured a lot of non-technical prizes, with things such as boats, vacations, houses, etc. But this year, there are only a few non-technical prizes (the $1 million grand prize, an SUV and a whitewater adventure trip).
Here's the list of all the other prizes. You tell me if America has finally gone mainstream with its obsession with high-tech stuff:
Oh, and the whitewater adventure trip also comes with Motorola 2-way radios and a Garmin GPS device.
If anyone wins any of these prizes, I'll be happy to help you set up the systems. That's what we're here for.

Of the millions of pieces printed, the rare ones are Mediterranean, Vermont, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ventnor, Pennsylvania, and the rarest one, with only one game piece printed, the Boardwalk. Anyone who has a boardwalk piece definitely already has park place, so none of u r gettin it

The true sign of a bs ebay sale is this ***************** **************************The only reason I am not revealing the identity of the piece is because I am doing an experiment for 1 and, any winnings I would recieve from this piece I really do not need as I am not in it for the winnings just the experiment. **************** I see that phrase all over ebay..alot of people doing experiments w/ rare pieces(bs) I also see alot of employ theft online. People w/ unopened cards selling in lots. Smells like another McD's case of Fraud in their monoply game!!

I haven't seen a gamepiece since about October 27th, and the 1-800 number says "the game is SO popular, 70% of all MacDonalds don't have game pieces". Likely. More like someone has taken off with the winning game pieces again, sounds like to me.
