Lexmark today launched the E220, a monochrome laser printer for under $200. The budget-priced printer can print up to 18 pages per minute (PPM), and delivers the first print in 9.5 seconds, the company said. The printer is being aimed at consumers, home office and small and midsize business customers.
The printer includes a one-touch job cancel button, and a print cartridge that Lexmark says is easy to install and replace. Another feature is a single-sheet manual feed for envelopes and card stock.
