IBM today announced two new monitors to its line of ThinkVision monitors – the L150 and L150p – 15-inch high-end flat-panel LCD monitors.
IBM says the L150p includes an ergonomic, cantilever stand that makes it look like the display is “floating toward the user.” The stand keeps the base stationary while letting the monitor swivel 135 degrees in either direction, IBM said. It also has a “lift function” that offers a vertical height adjustment.
Both monitors include direct access buttons to adjust brightness, automatic image setup and input selection, IBM said. Pressing the Automatic Image setup button optimizes image quality, the company added. The Input Selection button lets a user switch between two system applications automatically.
The monitors will be available Aug. 1 through IBM’s Web site. The L150 costs $329, and the L150p costs $379.
