Speaking of InFocus, the company also launched the LP120, a sub 2-lb. projector (0.9kg) that is thin enough to “fit into a briefcase alongside a notebook computer.”
The LP120 supports XGA (1,024 by 768) native resolution, has 1,100 lumens of brightness, and a 2,000:1 contrast ratio with support for 16.7 million colors. InFocus says the projector can project an image between 2.7-inches to 22.2-feet wide from distances of 1.5 to 5 meters. The company says the smaller size of the LP120 is possible because of a new lamp system (called UHP Micro Lamp).
Pricing of the new projector has not been announced, and the device is expected to ship this summer, InFocus said. Go to the company’s Web site for more details.
