Fujifilm’s Computer Products Division announced it will begin shipping its Fujifilm USB Drive 2.0, with storage capacities up to 1G bytes, in August. The drive will cost about $499, the company said.
The new USB 2.0 Drives will be available in 128M-, 256M- and 512M-bytes as well, the company said. Smaller capacities, including 32M-bytes and 64M-bytes, will only be offered as USB 1.1 drives.
The drive will ship with a mini CD-R disk that includes a driver for Windows 98 or 98SE systems. The drives will also support Macintosh environments (OS 8.6, OS 9 and higher). For more information on the drives, go to the Fujifilm USB Drive Web site.
