We installed the host and remote portions of NetOp on a variety of Windows PCs ranging in speeds from 200 MHz to 500 MHz, and running Windows 2000, 98 and XP. These computers were connected via a local 100M bit/sec Ethernet network or via dial-up 56K bit/sec modems. We looked at security features implemented, crispness of display, file transfer throughput and responsiveness of the remotely controlled host.
