Paessler Tools aims to help network managers increase server uptime with its software. Called IPCheck, the software works on Windows NT or 2000 networks and monitors whether servers are operational or not.
You can set levels with IPCheck, and if those levels are exceeded, IPCheck will send a message to the administrator, reboot the server or send notifications to cell phones or pagers.

All results are written to a log file that can be displayed in a graphical format.
IPCheck runs as a service on a Windows NT or 2000 server and can be managed from a browser on a local workstation. The software is priced at $50.00 per server. A function-limited evaluation version can be downloaded from www.web-server-tools.com.
