According to a voice message at the U.S. District Court where Microsoft's antitrust trial has been conducted, Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson will not be issuing his ruling in the case today as had been widely expected.

According to numerous press reports last week citing anonymous sources, Jackson had told the two sides in the case that if they did not reach a settlement by today, he would release his ruling. He has encouraged settlement talks through a mediator. Microsoft reportedly made a settlement offer this past weekend that was deemed inadequate by government lawyers.
