The most difficult part of setting up a small office/home office network is picking out which router to use to connect multiple PCs to a single broadband connection. A myriad of devices come with 1 to 8 ports, some have firewalls and support multiple VPN connections while others support wireless networking.

To help in the decision making, we've compiled this downloadable list of 52 different SOHO routers from 14 vendors. All you need to view and sort the listing is Microsoft Excel.

Vendors included:

  • 3Com
  • Actiontec Electronics
  • ADTRAN
  • Asante Technologies
  • Belkin Components
  • Cisco
  • D-LINK SYSTEMS
  • Linksys
  • Multi-Tech Systems
  • NETGEAR
  • Nexland
  • SMC Networks
  • Symantec
  • ZyXEL Communications
