I made the mistake of trying to upgrade my firefox program to firefox 3...it has made multiple programs & systems inoperable & unobtainable. Proof that nothing free comes without a cost...great scam though...you fooled me. Now I need to figure out what has been compromised and find a way to repair it...This may be impossible as I have so many programs & systems to check without the knowledge to make the repairs...

Suspicious...
You must be the only person with such a problem. I think that may have due to some bizarre windows-related event. Better luck next time! :p
Houston we have a problem
Hey all,
I LOVE firefox and would never go back to IE. But I have admit that I've had some very annoying problems with firefox 3.
Time for a downgrade to 2.0.14
Maybe I'll re-install it once the bugs are gone, because aside from the problems it is pretty awesome :)
Firefox 3
Me too, I downgraded. Should'a known this was an inferior product, what with all the hype...
Firefox 3 sucks I'm sorry
I'm sorry but I can't put it in better terms, it wont even launch and now I'm unable to use all of my saved applications. Anyway to downgrade and go back to 2?
I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this but I wonder if the IE team could have intentionally done this by writing in malicious code, since I think i saw on digg where the IE team sent firefox a cake that had the IE logo on it that said congratualtions on the launch.
FireFox Failure
Installed FF3 in Win XP Pro but it wouldn't run at all, zilch!
I've been running FF2 with no problems, I love it.
Tried uninstalling it, no way could I do that.
I went back a couple of weeks, did a system restore then re-installed FF2.
FF3? keep it! I'll stick with something that works!
yeah that's really very
yeah that's really very likely. Are you 12?
firefox 3 problems
first off, there are thousands of problems posted in hundreds of forums....personally i believe that most of these are hidden in new untested add-ons.....mine is that my system will not boot up on my first try...i have been trying to fix this for 4 days without any resolve...even my anti virus software crashed....where does one go for help?...and who are these people in total problem denial or spreading misinformation?
