the "old" mainstream sites
I don't recommend the "old" mainstream sites to anyone anymore. The reason is that the amount of spam I received went up by 35%, and I got massive amount of contacts from people wanting me to sell insurance or their new multi-level marketing sca....err scheme. After multiple complaints to both Monster and CareerBuilder (which was the far worse of the two in my opinion) I finally removed my name and information from their sites. Until I read this article I was almost ready to go start my own site that would keep out all the sales riff-raff because I was so sick of the hassle of dealing with these clowns all the time.
